What We are Looking For:

DanceOne is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Seasonal Registration Associate to support the smooth execution of registration processes at our events. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments, love to travel, and enjoy working behind the scenes to enhance the attendee experience.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Aid the Convention Manager(s) & Tour Director in managing the registration process for events onsite.

  • Collaborate with various departments, including registration, production, events, merchandise, and photo/video, to foster a cohesive event experience.

  • Provide outstanding customer service, addressing inquiries, and promptly resolving issues.

  • Utilize registration software and tools to track attendance, payments, and relevant data.

  • Assist in developing and implementing registration strategies to enhance the attendee experience.

  • Run errands for the registration team as needed.

  • Contribute to creating and managing social media posts during event weekends.

What You Need:

  • A strong knowledge or passion for dance is highly recommended.

  • Previous experience in event registration or related fields is preferred.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Publisher, etc.) and Google Sheets.

  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Typical Work Schedule and Travel:

This position requires on weekends as needed during the event season. The schedule is as follows:

  • Travel on Thursdays, assisting with setup Thursday afternoon or evening.

  • Friday and Saturday: Full event days starting early in the morning and ending late at night.

  • Sunday: Half-day events concluding around 4pm, followed by travel back to the home city.

  • This role involves air travel and requires the ability to work long hours in a fast-paced environment.

Physical, Community & Environment:

  • Physical requirements include computer screen time, sitting, standing, walking, bending, pushing/pulling, and lifting up to 30 lbs. unassisted.

  • Contemporary work environment with indoor work, sharing work areas with others.

  • Positive and energetic attitude thriving in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment.

  • Ability to be social with internal and external business associates, providing high-level customer service.
