We are seeking a highly organized, hands-on Production Manager to oversee the technical execution and touring operations of our live events.


✈️ Travel & Work Expectations

  • Flying weekly for 3–6 months per year (touring season)

  • Required travel for our Summer Event Series

  • When not traveling, you may be required to work at our warehouse/shop on in-house production projects

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, touring environment and enjoys both leadership and hands-on technical work.


🎬 Key Responsibilities

Pre-Production & Planning

  • Coordinate and book local labor for each show

  • Communicate with truck drivers and venue security

  • Ensure all crew members reporting to you understand responsibilities and call times

  • Create operational show schedules based on event timelines

  • Serve as the main point of contact for technicians while on tour

  • Escalate operational issues appropriately


On-Site Show Execution (Load-In & Load-Out)

This is a hands-on leadership role.

You will oversee technical departments and actively participate in:

  • Loading and unloading trucks

  • Bolting truss systems

  • Operating material lifts

  • Hanging lighting and audio equipment

  • Building stage decks

  • Stacking and unstacking road cases

  • Ensuring the full set is built safely, fully functional, and on schedule

Safety, efficiency, and professionalism are critical.


Show Operations & Documentation

You are responsible for completing and submitting weekly production paperwork, including:

  • Post-show reports

  • Crew and local labor timesheets

  • Venue photos and video documentation

  • Rental and labor invoices

  • Accident and incident reports


Equipment & Inventory Oversight

  • Ensure all consumables are properly stocked

  • Confirm equipment is in good working condition

  • Oversee minor repairs on the road

  • Coordinate return of damaged equipment to warehouse when necessary

  • Experience in live event production or touring environments

  • Strong leadership and communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple moving parts under tight timelines

  • Comfort working physically in technical build environments

  • Strong organizational and documentation skills

  • Ability to problem-solve independently on the road
